Gavin meets Chas....

Today Gavin met Javin's best friend Chas. He drove down from College Station to spend the day with us. Doesn't Gavin look like he he studying him hard?

Four Generations...

There are actually five generations of Javin's living but this is all we could manage to get together. Four generations under the same roof. What a lucky little boy!

Visiting Family...

We made it back to Texas and are making the rounds visiting with our family.

Aunt Julie made this sweet little quilt for Gavin and he really enjoys sleeping under it.

Texas on my Mind...

Our knick knacks are wrapped and our dishes are pack. All our furniture is bubble wrapped. Our lives packed into 6 wooden containers. Everything we own is headed back to Texas.

The movers arrived at 7:30 this morning and got straight to work. Gavin and I drove up to post for his six week check up. He weighs 7 pounds and 11 ounces and is 21 3/4 inches long. What a growing boy. We brought lunch home for the movers and Javin. Then the guys got back to work and had our entire house pack into the truck by 4 pm.

Here is our schedule for the next week:

Monday: Household Goods Packed
Tuesday: Unaccompanied Baggage Packed
Wednesday: Turn in Car for Shipment, Goodbye to the Battery
Thursday: Household Inspection, Jaime to the Dr
Friday: Check Out on Post
Sunday: To Ramstein Air Force Base
Monday: Flight out to Baltimore, Then Atlanta, Then Killeen

Lazy Day...

It's nap time at the Walker House. It might as well be because it is COLD outside. The temperature today is 12 degrees and it is snowing. Javin came home for lunch and decided he needed a nap, so Gavin followed suit!

This morning when I changed Gavin I had to put him in 0-3 month clothes. Up until now he was still wearing newborn clothing. Sad for Mommy, good for Gavin!

Sunday Morning...

Taking a little nap with Daddy. This picture is not from today but they are so cute!

Javin and I were just remembering how tiny Gavin was when we brought him home. We had to prop his head up on one side and he just barely filled that other half of this swing. Now he sits in the middle and doesn't need the head rest. Such a big boy! And his newborn clothes are getting tight, that makes a sad mommy!

Tummy Time...

Gavin is just hanging out and working on some neck control this evening. He is such a big boy. I think if he could get those little knees underneath him he would just take off.

Goodbye Butter Bar...

Javin is the newest 1st Lt. on Rose Barracks. I am so proud of him!

In his true form, Gavin slept through the entire promotion ceremony.
