Moving Day!

The day that every new wife and husband dream of....Moving into their first home! Unfortunately, I was unable to be there but Javin did a great job supervising.

The Army sent the Mayflower moving company to Javin's Parents house in New Braunfels. On Monday, they came and unpacked/repacked all of our belongings and wrapped, labeled, and stacked them neatly to be picked up today.

It may not look like much, but we filled FIVE crates! That seems like quite a bit to me but people keep telling me we don't have much.

Javin finished up the paperwork and headed to the San Antonio airport. He caught a 5:55 flight into Dallas LUV field. Tomorrow he turns in his car for shipment then boards his American flight for Frankfurt. I will follow after graduation, on the 16th of May.

All for now, more to follow.

  4. Yes! I was hoping you would do something like this blog. Jen and I will read it everyday.

Javin Flies out to Germany tomorrow afternoon so he is spending the night at our house in Keller. He wanted to stay up as late as possible so he could sleep most of the flight. I figured he would be so anxious that he wouldn't have any problem staying awake. He was asleep on our living room couch 30 minutes after I left the room!

Keep this blog updated! It doesn't matter how boring you think an entry might be, POST IT! I'll read about the splinter you pulled out of your foot!

Love and blessing to you and Javin as you are constantly in my prayers.

  6. Did Javin get any sleep on the trip over? Has the house hunting began yet? So excited for you can't wait to read every word. Remebering when Uncle Greg and I with your parents were starting out. Enjoy every minute
